Thanks so much for this USB AA Battery Charger. It even came with one AA NiMH Battery. Awesome.
Because now I can charge exactly one AA battery using only my computer. All in the span of about five hours. This’ll be great for all those appliances I have that take only one AA battery. Of course, unless I buy more rechargeable batteries I’ll only be able to power them one at a time.
Well that seems really useful.
What? No, it’s just this new thing I’m trying where I don’t use exclamation points. Don’t take it personal.
Warranty: 90 Day Woot Limited Warranty
Features:
- Uses USB port in your personal computer
- Charges in 4-6 hours
- Safety circuit prevents overcharging
- LED indicator light lets you know when battery is fully charged
In the box:
- (1) Kikkerland USB AA Single Battery Charger
- (1) AA NiMH Battery
I’m just saying I think people tend to prefer piping hot wine. I’m not sure this Duo Wine Chiller with Wine Selector Control will be of much use to us. But hey, it’s your party.
Sure, set the temperature. It’s got settings for red, white, rose, and even champagne; that’s a really specific setting, actually. I wonder if they meant to leave out all the other sparkling wines from outside that particular region of France?
Anyway, you can chill wine from 68 to 44.6 degrees Farenheit, or between 20 and 7 degrees if you’re into the whole Celsius thing. Or 293 to 280 if you’re going Kelvin. The point is you’ve got some temperature control.
But none of those would count as “hot.” And if that time we left a bottle of Shiraz in the back seat has taught me anything, it’s that really hot wine can be absolutely delicious!
Warranty: 1 Year Team International Group of America (Kalorik)

I know you’re with somebody right now, but I had to take a chance and post this. You probably saw that I already with someone, too. I’ve been in a long term relationship with that behemoth of a laptop I’ve had since 2001 and the relationship has grown slow, stale, and incompatible to my needs. But when I saw you on the table next to mine at the coffee shop, I couldn’t take my eyes off your petite, elegant design with cherry red finish. Your 11.6” HD WXGA Ultrabright™ LED-backlit Display lit up a place in my heart that has been dark for years.
Your owner seemed to be put off with my questions, but I just had to know more. I tried to be subtle when I asked about your Windows XP operating system. I tried not to sound too excited when he told me about all your 160GB hard drive, your 1.2GHz Intel® Atom™ Processor, and Multi-in-1 Digital Media Card Reader. I should have stopped with the questions after inquiring about your integrated web cam and 3-Cell Lithium Ion battery, but I just wanted to touch you, just once. I know I deserved that punch in the face, but it was worth it.
We could be great together, you and I. That brute can never appreciate you like I could. Email me and let’s make a connection.

Man, there’s nothing quite like the feeling of driving a long stretch of American interstate highway with the radio turned up loud, is there? Picture it: You’re free, man, out on the road, singing along to some old tune, with your hands on the wheel and the wind in your hair. Weather permitting. And assuming you have hair.
Only one problem with this scenario: If you’ve ever actually road-tripped across this great land of ours, you know that the radio stations out there are terrible. Terrible. I mean, whose idea was it to put “Young Girl” by Gary Puckett & The Union Gap in heavy rotation in all 48 contiguous states? We can only assume it was someone who bought the patent on Dr. Kevorkian’s Thanatron device.
Fortunately, you can still get that classic radio-blasting road-trip experience, even if your route takes you through the seat of some of the worst radio programming in the land. (We’re not naming names, but it rhymes with Schmindiana.) It just takes a little stage-managing, that’s all.
First, you’re going to need an FM transmitter for your mp3 player. We’re offering three different models of the Philips Transdock, each with its own unique virtues. If you’re into the rubberized “splash proof” look, maybe you’ll favor the Transdock Marine. But it doesn’t charge the newest iPods, so if you have one of those, maybe you’ll prefer the TransDock III. Alternately, if you’re down with the Zune, you’ll want the TransDock Micro II for Microsoft Zune.
There—now you’re no longer at the mercy of whatever’s washing around on the airwaves. Never again will you have to listen to a local high school football game, or a hellfire-and-brimstone radio preacher, or Anne Murray’s “Could I Have This Dance!” Instead, you can be pounding out the drum part to “Runnin’ Down a Dream” on your steering wheel as many times in a row as you want, even if you want it to be zero times, because hey, this is your playlist we’re talking about, not ours.
“But Woot,” you might be saying, won’t I get better sound quality if I just bring a bunch of custom-burned CDs instead?”
Well, yeah. But first of all, that’s going to cost you. Both in blank CDs and in cargo space. And second of all, the proper soundtrack to a classic American automotive experience is the FM radio, OK? Notice that Tom Petty does not sing about a beautiful day when the sun beat down and he had a bunch of CDs he burned for the trip and he was drivin’. It’s the radio. Always the radio.
Even if you do have to hack it a little to avoid road-tripping to Delilah and John Tesh for hours.
